Gteam discovering the temple of a Thousand and Two Steps "Cheng Ji Chan" ~15/10/2010.

Penang's famous "Cheng Ji Chan" meaning 1,200 steps is a man made track to the hilltop Nine Emperor God temple in Air Itam.....Hmmmm ''Cheng Ji'' sounds like Four Digit(Magnum, Kuda, TOTO) leh....heheee, anyway it does not matter as long we have the heart and sincerity to drive~and ride motor up.....vroom vroom~~~Hmmmm, there is so many hidden beautiful places in Penang, special thanks to CK Wong and Ong Woei Keong for bringing us here....

The entrance arch into ''Cheng Ji Chan'' temple carries the name Chau Yuen Tong..... 洞 not cave meh...??? dont see any cave there wor~~ i suppose the temple really was built over a cave which i did not see it at night....heheee.

 

The wall are painted bright yellow~~

Once we reach the temple we start praying~~Wow...!!! the scenery is very refreshing...

 

 After prayers, we start eating~~~!!! this is my favorite part....heheee.

 

After washing dishes, we continue to climb to the highest of ''Cheng Ji Chan'' temple~~wah, so many staircase~~~;p

 

Once we reach the top, we were still so energetic.....we continue snap picture...;p

I and OWK ride bike slowly down and the rest drive....

 

We really enjoyed visit ''Cheng Ji Chan'' for its peace, serenity and tranquility. 

All of us felt so blessed to be up in this temple....!!!
